Terms & Conditions is a jolting look at the movement of big tech in contemporary culture and the direct concern for individual privacy, basic autonomy and the push towards a transhumanist future. Grounded in research from ongoing legal battles with the big dogs of the tech world, as well as authentic excerpts from the Terms and Conditions that our culture has already signed when consuming these products and personal devices; Terms and Conditions is comprised of sculptures spanning across multiple disciplines to create works comprised of materials from luminism, to installation, to resin, to gypsum, to plexiglass, and even wool. 

The work, and the research behind it, is designed to invoke pointed conversations surrounding the outlook of the global climate in the current era when it comes to technology use and the startling realities of human cohabitation with technology today. 

My intention with the work itself, is to serve as an interactive and intricate benchmark for society in this specific moment of  human history in relation to our personal interaction with the technology we carry on our bodies and in our pockets. Consumers of the work will leave the space contemplating the health of their own relationship with personal tech devices as well as the trust we, as a society, have put into technology billionaires that have proven to have their own interests in mind under the guise of communal societal advancement.
